Throat Chakra:

Practice Right Speech
When you are in a situation, slow down and think about the effects your words will have before you open your mouth.
Right speech is supportive speech, kind speech, respectful speech.
Do I think about the impact of my words on others before I speak?
I seldom think before I speak. Sometimes when I replay conversations in my mind that I have had, I wish I had said things differently and I imagine a better conversation but sadly its too late and I can't undo the past, this feeling of regret becomes amplified and evolves into other mixed emotions of distress, leaving me depressed, doubtful and fearing.
Do I use my speech to create harmony and unity?
I have come to realize that I seldom create harmony and unity in speech. I avoid people I find harsh in speech but soon discovered that I too am harsh. When I am happy, I have very little to say and I remain content in the moment, and when I am unhappy or angered by a situation, I rant and rave in absolute rage to everyone I know about my unfortunate situation. In so doing I am unknowingly creating a very dark and negative energy field around myself that is destructive to me and those around me, I am also creating karmic debt for myself.
